Using as reference the book 'Islamic Geoemtric Pattern ' by Eric Broug  you will create your mosaic, of size 15x15cm, based on the pattern  used for decoring The Great Mosque of Cordoba 785AD

All mosaic materials & tools, aprons and wooden frames are provided
 
Workshop contents :

Saturday :

- Introduction to the course and the  techniques;

- Selection  of  materials; 

- How to transfer / draw an image to prepare   the creation of 
  a mosaic;

- How to cut and shape tiles to create your own mosaic using 
  mosaic tools;

- Direct method : gluing your tesserae directly onto the 
  wooden support;

Sunday: 

- Complete your mosaic;

- Finishing your mosaic by grouting  and  cleaning it.
